Structured as a live broadcast from a fictional 1970s Ohio TV station, the show toggles between a 1930s noir crime drama (complete with double-crossed dames and dead mobsters) and the chaotic behind-the-scenes world of a    C-list local TV crew scrambling to hold the transmission together. Cue wardrobe malfunctions, misplaced prop guns, and wandering clergy who may or may not be buying the station.
